Port4444— SNMP / alternative HTTP
IANA registriert TCP 4444 für mehrere Dienste, darunter KRB524 (Kerberos-v4-zu-v5-Konvertierung). Er dient auch als alternativer HTTP(S)-Port für einige IPMI/BMC-Oberflächen, Kerio Control, IoT-Dashboards und Debug-Endpunkte. Auch Metasploits standardmäßiger Reverse-Shell-Handler nutzt ihn; ein unerwarteter öffentlicher Listener auf 4444 gilt daher oft als verdächtig.

Configuration and troubleshooting
Zur Untersuchung eines Listeners auf 4444 nennt `ss -tulpn | grep :4444` den Prozess. Ist er unbekannt, prüfen Sie zuerst auf eine Kompromittierung (`lsof -p <pid>` zeigt offene Dateien und Verbindungen). Bei bekannten Produkten wie IPMI ändern Sie den Port in der Verwaltungsoberfläche und aktualisieren gleichzeitig die Firewall-Regeln.
Important limitations
Da Metasploit standardmäßig 4444 nutzt, zieht ein öffentlicher Listener ständig Scannerverkehr an. Verwaltungsoberflächen auf 4444 (IPMI/BMC) müssen durch Quellbeschränkungen oder VPN-Zugriff geschützt werden.
