포트 465는 암시적 TLS를 사용하는 메일 제출에 쓰입니다. TCP 연결 직후 TLS 핸드셰이크가 시작됩니다.
Registry assignments, software defaults and local listeners are different things. A port number alone does not identify or secure a service.

메일 클라이언트에서 암시적 TLS를 선택하고 제공업체의 호스트 이름을 사용하세요. 포트 587의 STARTTLS 설정을 그대로 465에 사용하지 마세요.
Important limitations
메일 제출에도 올바른 인증과 인증서 검증이 필요합니다. 이 포트는 개방형 릴레이가 아니며 모든 서버 간 SMTP 전송을 대체하지도 않습니다.
