Port465— SMTP submission / implicit TLS
Le port 465 sert à la soumission de courrier avec TLS implicite : la négociation TLS commence immédiatement après la connexion TCP.
Registry assignments, software defaults and local listeners are different things. A port number alone does not identify or secure a service.
Configuration and troubleshooting
Sélectionnez TLS implicite dans votre client de messagerie et utilisez le nom d’hôte du fournisseur. Ne réutilisez pas tel quel sur 465 un réglage STARTTLS destiné au port 587.
Important limitations
La soumission nécessite toujours une authentification correcte et la validation du certificat. Ce port n’est ni un relais ouvert ni un remplacement de tous les échanges SMTP entre serveurs.
